Experienced, qualified Counsellor who is a registered member of The British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I offer a professional, safe and confidential counselling service where you are free to talk openly and honestly about what is going on for you. As my practise is close to central Bromley it is easily accessible, not only from Bromley but from Hayes, Shortlands, West Wickham, Beckenham, Orpington and most of South East London.

My Aim

As your counsellor, I will listen and support you. Together we can gain a better understanding of your situation. Sometimes when emotions run high it can be difficult to understand our feelings, let alone manage them, making everything feel overwhelming.

All too often problems can be ignored and pushed to the back of the mind. Unexpectedly they can bounce back into your thoughts, creating a situation that is too difficult to see away ahead. Confusion, anxiety, depression and stress may occur along with other difficulties that may prevent you from leading the life that you want for yourself.

I can draw on several reputable theories effectively and this is where our work together can help you to come to terms with the past, be more in control of the present and look at your hopes for the future.

Every person is unique and important, as your counsellor, I can tailor my approach to suit that need. I create a sense of safety, trust, a calm space that is free of prejudices or judgement. This calm environment will help you to feel you can explore what is going on for you, look at your struggles and help you find the best ways forward at a pace to match and respect your needs. Counselling for Domestic Abuse/Violence

I understand the impact of living in an abusive/violent relationship, when staying seems the only option, as leaving it seems impossible. No one deserves to be abused and everyone has the right to feel safe.
I will never tell you to leave the relationship nor will I tell you to stay. We can look at what is going on for you, understand the dynamics of the relationship and explore your choices even when your situation feels overwhelming.
